Since 1982, Dr. Dazio has specialized in working with the older adult. In 1984, she developed a private occupational therapy practice devoted to geriatric care with a specialty in home accessibility and barrier free environments for the older adult.  

Dr. Dazio is a graduate of Boston University, (Sargent College of Allied Health Professionals) and received her doctorate in occupational therapy from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professionals in Provo, Utah.



Alfred A. Bove, M.D., Ph.D., F.A.C.C.
Dr. Alfred Bove serves as ITS-SAFE Aging's Medical Director Consultant. 

He is is the Chief of Cardiology at Temple University Medical Center and emeritus professor of medicine at Temple University Medical School. He previously served as an Associate Dean at Temple University Medical School. He has conducted research in basic cardiac physiology, coronary disease, exercise physiology, environmental medicine and computer information systems in medicine. His current research, funded by the NIH, and the Pennsylvania Department of Health involves management of heart failure and cardiovascular risk factors using an Internet communication system for patient to physician communication. Dr. Bove is the Editor in Chief of the American College of Cardiology, educational web site:  www.Cardiosource.com. He is an expert in web site design, and medical database development. Dr. Bove also directs the Temple University Underwater Medicine program, which has provided postgraduate training in environmental medicine to over 400 physicians over the 31-year tenure of the program.

Dr. Bove has published over 250 original research papers on coronary disease, valvular heart disease, cardiac hypertrophy, exercise, coronary prevention, environmental medicine, and computers in medicine. He has authored texts on coronary disease, exercise medicine and diving medicine. Dr. Bove received his B.S.E.E. from Drexel University in 1962, an M.D. from Temple University in 1966, and a Ph.D. in Physiology and Bioengineering from Temple in 1970. Dr. Bove is a member of the IEEE, a fellow of the American College of Cardiology where he currently serves as a member of the board of trustees, a fellow of the American College of Physicians, and a member of the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society.
