OTHER RESEARCH PERFORMED:

2004-2005 Research:
The 2003-2004 pilot study paved the way for a current year study, supported and funded by Retirement Research Foundation of Chicago, Ill, entitled "Psychometric Testing of the Safety Appraisal For Elders” (SAFESM), which began in March, 2005 and it is expected to be completed by 12/31/06. This project will determine criterion validity, explore predictive qualities of the SAFESM, and will test the SAFE’s stability over time.
